Complete disc brake conversion kit will work well on the Dana 44 and Dana 30 front axles. All parts needed for conversion are included for $765. Following pages show how easy this kit is to install.

Start the conversion by removing the drum brake assembly to the spindle. Clean the inner axle and install new dust seals.

Grind this area down next to the turn stop so that the caliper will clear the knuckle.

Install the back plate and spindle.

Mount the caliper on the back plate and check to make sure there is clearance for the caliper to move without touching the knuckle. This is very critical so the brakes apply completely.

Install the new rotor and hub assemblies.

Finish the install by mounting the caliper and pads, lockout hub assemblies and you are ready to go.
