Early Bronco Restoration - Bronco Connection LLC

We have a customer in British Columbia Canada who has ordered a completely refurbished Bronco body tub and hard top.

We will start with this Bronco tub we picked up in New Mexico. It will need to be stripped down, a few panels replaced, blasted, sealed and primed for the trip to the Great White north!

Tub is stripped of all bolt on parts and placed on the rotisserie

Work has begun on the tub. Rusted or damaged areas and panels are removed.

New panels are installed. In this case we had to install new driver side door post, rocker, kick pan and inner fender. We fit each tub with doors and fenders to ensure all the body lines and gaps are correct before and after we final weld the panels in place.

We found that both rear lower quarter panels had too much bondo, so two new lower quarters are installed. Now the customer can decide for himself if he wants to stay with the stock uncut rears or cut them for his flare and tire combination.

Tub is sand blasted

As a result of the blasting process we find a couple very small areas that need attention. Once these are fixed all panel seams will be sealed and the tub will be primed and readied for shipping.

All sheet metal seams are etch primed and sealed to guard against any future rusting issues.

Once the body is sealed it is completely sprayed with etch primer to protect it in transit.

The body is complete and ready for shipping.

The customer will only have to deal with some minor body work to prep for paint.

The tub is as structurally sound as the day it came off the assembly line.

Ready for another 40+ years of life.
