73 NY Bronco Restomod project

We have a customer from New York who has sent us this 73 Bronco for a full frame off restomod restoration.

After having several other local shops work on it, he decided to send it to us for a proper restoration.

Many of the things that had been worked on were very poor, as pics of the build will show.

This will be a great high end build that will end up a brand new 2012/1973 Bronco with many improvements over the original truck.

Fuel injection, custom interior, electric windows, electric door locks, custom dash and many other improvements.

Let the dismantling begin!!

The frame is cleaned and blasted.

We find some terrible installation issues on the dual shock mounts. Not only are they not bolted in correctly, they aren't even welded on adequately.

We also find the body mount areas on the frame are rotted away. Fortunatly we can inspall one of our repair kits and save the frame.

The frame is completely checked over, poor welds are removed and proper welds are made.

This frame is ready for POR15 and paint!!

The 351W is ready for disassembly and a trip to the machine shop.
