We have a customer from Florida who has sent us this body tub for repair.

Surprisingly, the customer is a prominent Ford dealer with 8 body men on staff.

Apparently, they attempted to restore this body and as you can see,

They Failed.

So the tub was shipped to us to save it from total disaster and despair.

Unfortunately they did not crate it properly, so the journey to us created even more damage.

They started by procuring the cheap replacement panels that we have come to hate. These parts do not fit.

We tried to make them fit but eventually gave up.

We had to discard them and install our panels which we have proven time and time again they fit.

Time is money and when we spend more labor on a panel trying to get it to fit than what the panel cost,

you have a big problem.

It is obvious that whoever started this project did not have the knowledge, tooling or skills to complete it properly.

Again, Unfortunately, it will cost the owner more for us to fix the mess than what we charge for a rebuilt tub.

It certainly would have been cheaper for him to have sent the tub to us in the first place.

But at the end of the day, his body is correct and still partially original.

The project is complete

This body is very nearly completely brand new.

The only major original parts left are the two rear quarter panel assemblies.

Once the final prep work is finished the body will be ready for paint and another 40 years of life!!!
