We have a customer from here in Nebraska with an all original 66 that needs sheet metal and paint work done.
He is 81 years old and has had this truck since the beginning of time!
We need to make the sheet metal repairs and restore the body to original color and condition.
Check back over the next several months and watch the progress.
66 NE Bronco Repaint Project Completed
With rust this extensive, we are forced to take the body off the frame in order to properly replace the needed panels
About a hundred and fifty man hours as well as lots of new sheet metal and this body will be better than new!
The tub sheet metal is complete. Final sand blasting of the the body, all the seams have been sealed and a quick coat of etch primer has been applied. Now it is off to the paint section of the shop for final body work and paint.
We blasted the chassis assembly, coated with POR15 and painted chassis black.
The engine was stripped, cleaned and repainted. It ran just fine so we did nothing internally to it.
Transmission was overhauled, flywheel surfaced and new clutch assembly added while it was all apart.
Wheels were also blasted and repainted.
We have applied urethane liner that is tinted to match the body color on the inside of the tub..
The inside of the tub and floors are coated to prevent any future rust issues.
We also applied black urethane coating to the underside of the entire tub.
No more rust for this rig!!
The original hardtop is rusted beyond help.
We have another top we will restore for this truck.
We have a good selection of tops to choose from.
We refurbish and paint one to replace the rusted original. top.
